Hi, and welcome to my Youtube Channel thread. I have recently started to produce videos of my restoration processes, which go into great depth to help people understand and learn from it.

For the people asking about how I restore my hardware using zinc plating,
This video is an in depth explanation of the whole process which I find invaluable to a restoration project.

I look to use this process during every single project, having my own kit in my workshop makes it so helpful to do however big or small of a batch to suit my likings,

I understand this is for an e34 m5 engine, however these s38 ITB's are very similar to the s14 ITB's in the e30 m3.

This is a step by step video on the complete restoration of an s38b36 individual throttle body set.

All this work was carried out by myself with only a few new wear parts that have been replaced!

Here is the complete restoration of my s38b36 air intake, unfortunatly due to size restraints of the e30 engine bay compared to the e34, there is no room for this without modification which I did not want to do. This item is now for sale!

Here's a simple video of the disassembly of my front subframe, I will be breaking the restoration down into sub-categories to go into depth of each process!

Here is how I restored my s38/m30 starter motor!
With no real research into the work required before starting, I was happy with how the restoration went.

Decided to spend my weekend giving my daily a complete interior make-over!

Very happy with the end result after a lot of work, here is a video of the whole process!

Took a break over 'winter' but back to it already! Here is my latest project.

Restoration and reinforcement of my subframe.

Continuing with my front assembly restoration, here is my front control arms.

I pressed out the old ball joints and bushes, sand blasted the arms and painted with POR15, the installed LEmforder inner and out ball joints with a powerflex poly lollipop bush. Enjoy!

Now this restoration is pretty niche, but once again, with no information on how to do the process I thought I'd film the process!

For anyone who has damaged or worn out fog lights that need replacing, here’s how I refurbished mine!
Not everyone wants to use cheap depo replacements.

Thanks Steve, I feel like I can see the end of the tunnel! Even though it looks like I am the furthest away from it..

A quick video of my rear subframe restoration + reinforcement.
Using camber/toe adjustment, diff reinforcing and poly bushes!

These original calipers were in the usual sorry state, but I have been able to get them looking fresher than out the factory

The driveshafts have been a great project and a good learning curve for me.
I struggled to find much information about how to remove the axle side CV joint but there was an old thread on here which showed it was possible so I gave it a go. It turned out great and I would highly recommend others to attempt the same.

The DIY interior respray!

The dampening of road/drivetrain noise was a must for me. I decided to go for more than the factory, especially around the bulkhead as I don't want to install the water trap engine bay insulation.

Something that is often overlooked during a restoration, I wanted to have a look inside and I am glad I did

I have always wanted to do the removable core/radiator support. Mainly due to the ease of access due to the size of the engine going in. I never liked the way some others did it, so I spent more time making it how I wanted.

A pretty significant update regarding the engine, it is back from the machine shop and ready for mocking up and starting the test fitting.
