M54 Oil Level sensor

Hello everyone,
My M54 has been in for a few years now, but there are still a few little things that need sorting out. One of which is the oil level sensor/warning light.
Am I right in thinking that I need the oil level sensor from an M50/52 which is a big bulbous thing, rather than the M54 one, which is like a thin black rod? I am pretty sure this is the one I need:

I am pretty sure I had one at some point, I think it may have come with the sump I bought, But I haven't seen it for years. Does anyone know where I might be able to get one of these for less than a couple of hundred pounds?
