cheers Wayne.
same fella removed all my tyres from the RG Alpina reps for £5

watch it rain for a month now
i've got a couple of items to fit and general spring tidy up and wax oil and i'm going to have a look at the rear bumper where some bint shunted me at the lights about 8 mth ago and knocked the bumper out of square.and do these again without the polish [damn salt]

less maintenance ftw

Is the rear bumper easy to remove? If so how do you go about it?
I've just bought another E30 to replace my rotten old 320i and I need to swap the tow bars over.

from the underside of the bumper look up and you'll see two allen key or torx head large bolts, one on each side and i've forgotten the size but you can buy them loose from halfrauds.
just undo these and it just slides back and off

to remove the bumper yes.
There are 2 black plastic brackets either side by the wheel arch and they can be adjusted to move bumper higher lower etc etc.

It's a Torx T55. You can buy just a socket for a couple of quid.

that passion wagon is a legend already,i picked a massive condenser tumble dryer up in it last week,a proper handy chariot-even the seats fold into a double bed so i'll never be homless

.
aye it's engine number 111 as no 1 was stolen before i could rebuild it

i will strip down engine 11 and find out what's happened to the guides when engine no 111 is fitted.

the low miler fat 6 ti in the local scrappy has a healthy looking rack + pipes i'm thinking 4-pot e36 pipes are a safer bet v e36 m50 pipes to fettle?

go for it, if there is a z3 in there (highly unlikely) go for one of them, less turns to lock than a dirty 6 rack

the yard gets all sorts that should not be crushed ie court seizures etc but i cant buy any of them
