8O Where did that lot come from?! A hell of alot of it is for the 2door. Alot could be sold or thrown in the bin. Getting there, another big push 2moro and we'll be there i reckon

i have a similar setup with a nice bench, a couple of LPG tanks, 3 engines and 2 dexion bays. lovely :D
unfortunately it leaves no room for my car  and to top it off, my brothers 205 track plaything project is sat on the drive so my car lives on the road :(

Si. You need to be more ruthless. How many bottom arms do you need "in stock"? Plus you'll be buying new for the 2 door as well? That tatty old washer bottle? needed?

Proof of the strength of this gear guys, is in the M20 block on the second shelf

Tell you what you need now! Go to Staples the office supplies and buy a load of their cheap plastic storage boxes. Neaten it up even more!

So close, just the 1 shelf left which will take a load more gear and i'll be able to swing my cat Dave in there! I've binned all the side units the new found space is epic

Struggling to find a place for the 2 Alpina exhaust systems on the floor there, 1 E30 and 1 E36. Fitting them to the cars would be a good idea!

Image

This was only outside for 2 hours tops, first frost its had for at least 3 years!

I've just found a new kitchen cupboard i put up too 2moro. Getting excited that i'll be able to work it on when i'm in the mood even if its dark outside, cold, raining etc!

I cannot believe that car has been outside without even a cover on.

You're in construction - surely you could widen up that garage in no time - I would.

I haven't got a car cover. Plus the car and cover have to be immaculate at all times unless you want scratches. Black shows everything up! Widening the garage would be alot of ££ and work for a 2 foot gain and it would make my butlins look a like house even uglier!

I measured it earlier its 6300mm long by 3600mm wide or 21 foot long by 12 wide. Thats pretty massive for a "single" garage and an E30 isn't a big car. So i'm hoping by a proper re shuffle we'll be in business

Any garage is awesome. I've literally been searching to rent one in London for almost 8 months now and cannot find one. Almost found a double off Edgeware road to share with mate and his Toyota MR2 fetish but the guy had insane contractual demands.

Sometimes living in town does suck.

If you're not working on it for a while get some more parts pix up!

you will need very deep pockets to even tempt him !

looking great Si :D just need a heater, shut the door and turn off the phone,
I spend almost all my spare time in the garage during winter, it's great when you can just drop the tools and leave it when you have had enough
it's bloody hard working outside in -0 temp !

I'm on crimbo hols now. I'll bet a mars bar its still too cold for brickwork 2moro! only did 2 1/2 days last week. Indeed you can lose yourself in the garage for hours, forget the world. Its relaxing in a way. I've not got a heater just put another fleece, coat on!

I've got a clutch to do on my e36 i think i'll do it in the garage sling the 2door in my spare garage at my sisters for a few days!

its about -2 here spook it been barely above 1 the last few days, Driftworks its not forsale!

So.....had a little fumble for a few hours today seeing as its not -9 outside anymore

Image

I'd bought these a long time ago and the error of my ways is now apparent, they're for a chromie car with shadowline ala Tech 1 sports? So these had to come off. I was sweating doing this. Does anyone want them for £20 posted?

Image

rear 1/4 on, this was the last one in stock in Germany, i've yet to buy the other side its the only 1 i don't have!

Image
Image

Drivers side done! with the help of the large hammer, not.

Image

Onto this mess, which is or was a complete 2dr car loom from the last breaker. Tangled with in it is a BMW factory alarm!

Image
Image

Which came with 2 working fobs, siren key. Plus some original BMW alarm stickers for the glass!! and the alarm was still working before the car was stripped........

Image

This runs through the bulkhead across it to the siren which this seemed the only way to get it out

Image

Taps into the OBC loom not sure why?

Image
Image

All out and removed, as you can imagine that took hours just to get to this state. It even taps into the hazard switch wiring to flash the indicators when locking and unlocking at a guess.

Getting it in and working will be another mission that i'll have to get Winx in to help me i think!

I have that alarm mate and yes it flashes the hazards when locking twice to lock and once to unlock i think. But mate if your gonna use that alarm change the battery in it for a new one otherwise it will burst open.

I have the original leaflet for the BMW alarm (or anti-theft system as they call it) Would be a nice addition to your owners manual.

I think it taps into the OBC loom for the immobiliser function which can be activated via the OBC using the code button.
