E30 Zone

If anyone doesn't already know, Lee Jones of this parish passed away on January 14th after a 5 year battle with cancer. His wake was yesterday where I had a couple of G&T's in his memory.

There aren't many of the Old School Zoners left here now but those who knew him will have a story or two, such as the time he lost control of a roundabout drift and landed in a McDonalds Drive Thru

What is known as 'a fuckin' legend, like'.

Shit, I had no idea he was ill. I have a few stories but they involve illegal activities so will keep them to myself. RIP Beemerlad, a top bloke.

I spoke to him a few times over the phone when I was new to the e30 and he gave me some very sound advice and some laughs.
Very sad indeed.
