Mini jump-starter / battery booster...

Thought I saw a thread on these a while back, but can't find it!!!

So, has anyone got, or had experience of one of these things that go for £20/30 on ebay???

Need something to jump start the E46 compact 325ti and my old halfords thing is dead!!!
My old battery charger works, but after I charged it last week the heater blower wouldn't stop & I didn't have time to disconnect the battery, so now it's properly dead and the charger won't play ball!!!
And it's parked really awkwardly, so it's going to be extremely difficult to just jump it off one of the other cars, without some very long leads!!!

Something like this of any use....
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/20000mAh-Min ... %7Ciid%3A1

Why would it state it won't start cars older than 2010???
A lot also say they can't jump a car with auto stop/start - which doesn't bother me yet.....

Any other, sensible, suggestions, so I can get this motor started, cleaned and sold?!?!?!

Lidl has something similar to these in a few weeks back. I overheard the store manager pleading with a potential customer NOT to buy one, as they'd had an almost 100% return rate.

Ha, sounds great!

Think I'm gonna try out this offering from Amazon for £38

At least it's got a high number of good reviews on there and I should have no issues sending it back if it's rubbish!

Trouble with reviews is people now get paid to leave good ones/lie...
Ive had a Durite one for about 3 years now, starts my 4.4 V8 E39 with a battery so dead it wont even charge

I prefer the larger type - I’ve had the Costco version for years and with a fleet of turds, I’ve had a lot of use out of it. It starts my 5.2 V10 petrol and my mates 5.0 V10 diesel with no issue and has warning lights, usb charger, 12v socket and an air compressor built in.

Search the Costco site and you'll find it.
