so yes i have had my account disabled from facebook for copyright infringement i have no idea for how long any one else been told of and sent to the naughty step

have they explained what the "copyright infringement" was? also they should tell you how long you will be banned for, i'd get in touch with them & ask for a full explanation.

never been banned myself even though i have posted some pretty provocative stuff over the years.

that makes no sense at all, reads to me like someone is just trying it on.

what exactly did you post?

i had a set of wheels unsure of make so i said bbs style thats all i did not say anywhere that they were bbs wheels

sounds to me like someone is for some unknown reason is simply trying to cause trouble,
all i can suggest is email facebook again & explain it to them in as much detail as possible ^ include pictures of the wheels & see what they have to say.

You own the wheels and the copy right to the photo you posted up so explain that to FB as in using the word "BBS Style" is just a generic term,

Name and shame on here which company complained as I have some spare time to send them some emails..........

I agree though! I usually do a search with '-style', '-NOT- etc. Cuts out a lot of the crap.

hindsight is a wonderful thing , but i did not advertise them as bbs , yes i did use the word style coz they are bbs style wheels . there was no make on the wheels would have been a great add with no9 discription aprt from 15" wheels of bmw e30 and pics
