Currently looking around at circa 15 plate vw caddy vans,it would have to be the 140 high line model if I was to bother ,has anybody got One or no any info on common problems etc of what to look out for on these?
Currently have a 2011 transit connect with no issues.

I was told by a dealer when I had one to sell it was a "Posers" van

The one I had to sell, a '65 plate was a 100ps, and while fine to drive was utterly gutless and with a terrible turning circle. I understand he had it in and out the garage with starting problems, not sure what the issue was though.

Injectors, EGR valves, handbrake levers, gearboxes, lock motors in the back to name a few.
They are generally decent vans TBH. Sometimes it’s luck of the draw.

The genuine 140 bhp ones seem the rarest there mostly 102 models remapped.

102 model is the 1.6. Speak to Hatfield van centre. They had a raven blue 2.0 high line
I have a 14 plate 1.6 102hp and I love the thing.
