Over the last few days when I have parked my car to go to the shop the alarm on the car would not work and I had to lock it by the key.
This has never happen before and only does so when I park it within a few yards of the same place.
Ideas please????
Mart.

Perhaps they've installed a dreaded 5G mast nearby, which is drowning out your remote keyfob signal...

It`s very strange that it happens in the same place ?
I will go there again tomorrow and see.
This is for my e46 325 cab not the Baur which is OK.
Mart.
Only the E46 cab left now.
Just got too old.

Not the 5G stuff, but it's quite common for radio and TV masts to interfere.
We have a London port authority tower near me and in the past it was known to completely debilitate a 7 series on occasion. Had to be recovered away before it would unlock.
