Loving the propaganda from BMW yesterday "telling" employees how it "may" affect the company in the UK should we leave.
And the bloody French chipping in with a warning (backed by Cameron) that they may not be able to stop migrants from entering the UK should we leave?
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstop ... -live.html
Well everytime I go to Calais (I never EVER venture ANY further than the Carrefore supermarket!) it's British guys in Calais manning the borders so the French are doing fuck all now! I'm with Rhubarb. Brick up the Tunnel and introduce a PROPER Visa system which allows any person (Preferably without a record for murdering their wife in Poland) into the UK for 2 weeks to a month only.
China for one, requires me to remove my trousers, bend over while handing a considerable sum of money before I can board a plane at LHR!!! If we introduce the same, France wouldn't be able to let them through WTHOUT said Visa which would state they are only visiting for a holiday. Britain would get an income from those visas and have legal right to eject anyone overstaying their welcome.
I honestly believe that leaving the EU may be the only chance we have to get the NHS back on track also. We HAVE to stop the people who fly / sail / catch a train into this country, only to bleed the NHS dry by using it's free health care. Not a UK citizen? Pay up or jog on!

A visa system will not stop illegals but it will limit economic migrants coming from less priviged parts of the EU
I don't have any issues with EU migrant workers but I do have issues with then being able to claim child benefit for a child that's not even in the UK
I don't even know why we have such a system/payment. If you can't afford children then don't expect the state pay for them. Free health and education is more than enough.

I can remember the common market vote (although I was too young to vote) Neither of my parents voted yes to join it.
As said already, it is not anything like what was promised at the time.
Here's the original pamphlet from 1975:

I`m all for helping people who are having there arse`s shot at or are persecuted for their belief`s , but when people come over to us simply to have a better quality of life, (at our expense) then it needs to stop and staying in Europe has to end before this can happen.
This is coming from an older guy who has paid his dues for 40 years now and it really pisses me off to see MY country being raped by people who don't give a damn about us.
Can we stop all of this ??? Not if we as a nation can not make our own laws and rule ourselves.
But we can very soon!!!
Mart.
Also £11b would help to fix a shed load of stuff. Per year.

"no recourse to public funds" !
The trouble with leaving the EU is that we may lose the thousands of very hardworking Eastern Europeans. Also, ignore the Farage nonsense. The EU does not cost us 55 squillion quid a day. Our constitution is not written in Brussels.
Gordon Brown was very anti Euro and kept the pound. Blair wanted the Euro.DanThe wrote: That one eyed drop jawed yes-man **** had no right signing us up for it in the first place!
Thatcher was saying in 1990 that we should exit, decades before the real problem arose. As ever, she was on the ball and we could do with her now.

did anyone watch the andrew marr show on bbc1 this morning??
they had boris johnson on talking about the IN/OUT vote.
Andrew Marr didn't stand a chance, trying to tow the bbc "pro eu" line even thought boris would not be put off from explaining why we should leave,
he even told marr that he was trying to stop him from telling the "truth" on the matter.
to much to list here about what he said so if you didn't see it then go on iplayer & watch it, boris makes some very good points.

Soon enough 75 million peasants will all be free to move here, claim benefits and drag the NHS down further.
The prospect of the EU's borders extending to Iraq, Iran and Syria is not good either...
I'm not sure any other reason to leave is required, although there are many more.
The free trade bollocks is just that, the German and French motor industries will see to it that there's no red tape.

Turkey joining isn't any different from what we've got with Germanys open door policy.
It doesn't matter if we're only taking in a few thousand. All those migrants only have to stay in Germany for 5 years before they can get a German passport and then make their way here as if they were you or me.
Our border controls mean nothing if the rest of Europe are blasé about it

If we are part of the EU when Turkey join the Turks will be allowed to come here unquestioned and there is nothing we can do about it.
75'000'000 Muslim peasants that are eager to join the UK for a job is not a good idea from where I'm sat...

Turkey does Sweet FA to control its boarders and does not give a shit
contrary to popular belief, the UK can deny entry to a german or dutch or any other schengen member. While we do have visa waivers in place however UKBF does refuse some entry.
back to turkey, as it stands right now they do not share intel with the UK. this is why CTC watch all flights coming in and out of turkey
if turkey wants to join the EU, the EU should make some demands of its own. turkey has to be seen to be a true team player in controlling its boarders, share intel before the EU caves in to their demands.
until that point every EU member state should have a naval boat based in the Aegean sea, yes this may be one step close to the EU army but it is measure that is needed
Personally, the EU is better off forging a relationship with the russians.

Us savages in the north have another problem.
Supposedly if the UK votes Brexit and the majority of Scots don't the poison dwarf wants to call another independence vote right away. Why the dwarf wants us to ditch one autonomous rule and keep another is a mystery to me but as she is staunch leftist she must want the cheap labour for something...possibly for bad hairdressers and power suit tailors to keep herself happy.
I still can't understand the Scottish Nazi love for EU membership...it makes no sense for a breakaway country...unless you think you can't make it without their backing because your economy is fucked.

The UK separatist movements are confusing.
At the extreme is Sein Fein, pardon the pun, the mouth piece for the IRA for many years, it's name means "ourselves alone"... supports the EU to the hilt and also demanding an Independance vote if the EU vote goes against their stance.
Claim lineage to a movement that fought one Union for a centuary but jump into bed with another?

I completely agree with this, well the first paragraph.ross_jsy wrote:I voted to stay. I am looking at it from a purely economical point of view. Markets dislike uncertainty and we are in for a rocky few months. A leave vote will see even more uncertainty, with foreign money flowing out, causing further destabilisation (a self fulfilling prophecy in a way). If we had a booming economy and we weren't post recession, I would probably say leave. But that's not the case.
From a personal point of view though, I am happy enough that you leave. The word in the fund world over here is it could be a good thing for Jersey as we will stand to act as an even more attractive conduit for european investment.
I don't believe that leaving will stop the flow of illegal immigrants into the UK, if anything the likely withdrawal of the right to work in the UK for EU nationals will increase the amount of economic refugees which will in time legitimise. That isn't saying I agree with the current position either the UK should renegotiate its position with regards to immigration.

Anyone else notice the Church of England's recent statement about immigration?
I think they have finally voiced a concern on the realisation that the religious demographics of the UK are changing......
The UK is, obviously, a Christian country (and long may this be the case) however, there is a marked decline in Christian worship, with a noticeable increase in devoties to Islam (this is further highlighted by the recent situation with the migrants).
It is fast becoming a numbers game and the balance will change if the situation remains unchecked resulting in sharia law in this country.
While the UK is all about integration, we have to be careful not to be too liberal when it comes to certain things...
In/out? It's still a difficult one for me. Even the so called "experts" in power do not really know what would happen if we exited.

it's not all down to uncontrolled immigration, it also comes down to the fact that the country was sick & tired of being lied to, bullied, & threatened & not just by Cameron & his lil bum buddys,
but by what is in essence, hitler with tits in a wig, did we vote for juncker to put in charge of the whole EU?? no she put him there.
what once started as a good idea (the common market) has since out grown it's founding ideals, it has become to big to control.
lets put it this way, why should we allow someone who knows nothing about this country aside from what they see on the TV decide whats in our best interests?? c'mon our own government can't even get that right FFS.
so why should someone who see's us as a country of tea drinking, cricket playing, shop keepers have a better idea on how to run this country when their own is in turmoil???

Just so all you Brexiters know, RBSI's corporate banking is currently down and their corporate services team don't seem to be forthcoming with the truth after half an hour on the phone with them. Hope you aren't paid through eQ, but at least you can blame it on the immigrants

Ashamed because Britain was considered to be a free thinking, forward looking country to be envied, now we have been tarred as being backward, short sighted and xenophobic.
50% of the country isn't, of course, but that's not the image portrayed to the world today.

That's just naive to think that! 52% of the population are obviously fed up with "forward thinking" that only extends to the next pay cheque.
Now we've become truly forward thinking and thought about the sustainability of the country with the sheer numbers of people coming here.
