fitted a new front valance

as above! shes sterling silver to match the rest of the car. i would like to give a MASSIVE shout out to goosiegander, without his help it wouldnt have got done....... simple, so a massive thanks to him! ... the hardest part was getting the @ucking bumper bolts to thread

she looks like a newun now

i also added my new nearside grille(but she dosent have a schnitzer badge on her

) so the mark of schnitzer will be added another day.

Aah yes, that a c**t that can be. What you do is sharpen the bolts to a point, smack them in with a hammer and wind them in.

Different on yours Rob, the bolts on metal bumpers are less troublesome.

thanks for the tip andy... but i have no facilities to sharpen the bolts... i am armed with your bible... and the bentley manual... oh and not forgetting my halfords tool set! @uck its @hit... makes me wonna go out and spunk a load of bread on snap-on tools or some @hit like that.

Had the same issue with my bumper bolts when I renewed my indicator lamps.
They also corrode really badly which renders the torx engagement useless and sometimes bind up so tight it's impossible to get them off.
As above, I just tapped them in with a hammer then wind them up.

Thanks for the advice as i need to do mine too. Are the spurious (spelling) ones a bad fit? Anyone know what an OEM one costs?

BMW one new is between £100-140.
