I've got this set of sport spring for my car. Had been using it for a few months before changing back to original. Does anyone know what's the brand of this spring. The front spring has 101589 on it and the rear has 101590.

The front is approx 11.5" and the rear is approx 8.2".

The previous owner said that these are sachs sport spring but there isn't any indication stating that it's sachs.

Pls help me identify the spring. Tq

Look's like a shash spring to me, As they are o/e for the sport model's and one of the only black painted springs on the market. Should have been a 25mm drop.

Yea, the site is really cool. runs on flash software.

Is there any way to could confirm this? How do we calculate the mm for the drop? I think i would have a few photos of car with this spring on it. Could we calculate the drop based on that?

thx for the input. Nowi know which direction i should look for.

I think BMW quoted the ride height of the car based on the distance from the centre of the wheel arch to the ground. Someone will be able to dig out those specs for you if you measure yours.. You can calculate it from there. More reliable than trusting manufacturers figures I'd say...

Form the wheel arch to the center of the hub.
