I've just dug out my photos from the day - full reg is M254RBW. It was at a BMW Car Club meet at Harewood House last year.

i also met a guy with a white 'm' plate touring in a garage in rosyth, fife once.

Convertibles continued till 93 K and im pretty sure L.

I've got a couple of L reg tourings, but I'd love to get hold of a M reg one! We have a personal registration plate in the family that bears a strong resemblance to the second half of my username, And I'd love to put it on one of mine!

Old prefix reg's would carry over from one year to another.

Saloons on late H plates and J plates (and some even later) were just registered late, not neccesarily made later.

I've owned 2 red 325i sports, one was a H Jan 1991, which was made in July 1990, and the other a J Oct 1991, and was made a month before the H reg'd one.

My Touring is a month behind yours Stitch. First registered end of Jan 94 on an L. Manufactured October 93 though.

hi, i just recently bought a L reg convertible with alpina engine 2.7, its in the bodyshop gettin a full mtec 2 bodykit fitted, ill post pics up as soon as its ready.
