Sterling silver sports are my favourite. They look so good, just a shame they are so rare.
I'd have to say red is my least favourite generally, but Chris' (billgatese30) one is stunning.

I wanted a Stirling Sport originally and located a fair few, only trouble was they were all rotten !

nope came in as a special order in late 91 when E30 4 door production stopped and the E36 started rolling off the lines. As there was a few months where the 2 door E30 and 4 door E36's overlapped in production they added the colour! or bmw GB did

Mine's a 'H' plate '91 so guess it's one of the first Granite ones? Wonder how many were actually ordered, is there somewhere like a register I can find out from- anal interest (that sounds very wrong doesn't it!!)

Iain Hamiltons mate had a J plater high spec one with the alpina sport pack. I looked at one in NW london years ago, high spec again but it was f**ked H*** JPM horrid car. There's a coupl on here but i don't know about numbers built.
Malco as i gather it was a cooking colour on the 36 there's loads of saloons about in granite

That would be mine then!!
I saw a post on the old zone from Iain saying that his mate was selling one, and that it was in his words "the one you have been waiting for" I was getting hacked off looking at sh1te so-called minters for £3-3500so i drove 240 miles down to Portsmouth with a pocket full of cash and as soon as i saw it and drove it I knew i had to have it.
That was 4 years ago now, and I've not regretted it for a second. Recently took the tech2 kit off to see what was underneath, so now I've got a bit of tidying to do, nothing serious, just a little bit at the bottoms of the wings and a small scab on one of the sills, quite relieved really could have been a lot worse from some of the horror stories I've seen on here.
I've decided i really MUST use it a bit more this year, and get to a few more meets too
