Hi guys, I bought an E30 320i Convertible just before xmas and I'm loving it, cant wait for the summer
I would like to get the car tuned as it does seem to be drinking petrol a little faster than I expected. Not being a great mechanic myself I need some guidance...
So I wondered if anyone could recommend a good mechanic to start looking after my little baby.. I live in North London so if anyone knows someone close by that would be fantastic.
Love the site, I have picked up so much from reading the forums.

Cooks Ferry in Enfield know their old BMWs inside out and will not screw you over.
Very good with parts too, hold a lot of Original parts in house.

**cough** think again before going there in the future - day light robery springs to mind straight away!
Jonsey, if it's servicing + genral machanics you require i can do it for you, had a couple of 320i cabs and can tell you they lovvvve to drink fuel like it's going out of fasion - worse than a 325i's comsumption.
I used to live in Tottenham N/London but i'm now in Ware just up the A10.

Didn't say they were cheap but not overly expensive either. If you can't be arsed to take risks they know their stuff and you pay the premium.
A Zoner near you would be solid too as obviously there are no better E30 bods.
