As annoying as he may be, he did more for rap music in this country than any other individual. He's been the same way since the mid 80's.

Knows how to entertain, knows more people in the industry in the US than any other person in the UK. Worked hard, been successful.

Can't stand him personally, BUT you gotta respect him for what he's done in a predominantly black US market. He's stood true to his word from a DJ piont of view whilst most of his peers turned to the new wave of house music in the early 80's. He's always spoken like a nob but he's hip-hop. End of.
