He has a 325 M20
I'd reccomend Fuchs Titan Super Synthetic.
BTW the numbers 15W-40 arn't a measure of the oils viscosity as such, 0w-40, 5w-40, 10w-40 and 15w-40 are all the same thickness (14cst) at 100degC, saying you run 'thick' oil is completely wrong as oils vary in viscosity accross their operating temperatures, and there is not a linear correlation between the viscosity and operating temperatures, meaning a 10degC two different oil blends may be the same viscosity but at 100degC they could be completely different, so at lower temps they flow the same(ie as you would say same 'thickness'), but in real terms they are completely different.
what 15W-40 mean is perfectly simple the numbers refer to the viscosity at set temperatures, to enable the end user to pick a suitable oil
15 - is the viscosity at low temperatures.
W - means it complies with the requirements for winter conditions. (Some people still change for summer conditions)
40 - is the viscosity at high temperatures.
However as the point I made before how the oil behaves between the low and high temps could be completely different for two oils both rated 15W-40.
