e30 noob!

Hey folk im mark from falkirk just picked myself up an e30 316 for £400 not too bad at the end of the day :D

so far it needs a new front wing and the back arches are bubbling so these will be getting replaced :)

so today ordered 2 front wings 2 back arches and bought a 325 diff from james some progress begins then the respray in march cant wait :D

Welcome mate. Are you keeping it the same colour? And what other plans you got for it? Looks good.

yea will be getting kept the same colour :)

the general intention is just to get it looking clean and respectable at the end of teh day and a wee bit of slidey fun lol

And by the way I started my carrier as an E30 owner with an 316 and I do miss it a lot!

erll folks small update took my car to get a pre mot check today :)

and i must say i was soo surprised :D

car needs to pass an mot :

small patch of welding in the front inner wing
all new brake pipes
new brake pads
new brake shoes
and a rear shock needs fixed but its being changed for adjustables all round so its fixed next week then re mot :D

well going down to my local garage tommorow sounds of silence to get my back arches ordered and have my e30 leave for 3 weeks :( to get a full repsray all the mot stuff done and my car lowered 60mm woohoo! :D

its down middlefiel industrial estate in falkirk dave under takes any kind of work hes curently doing a restoration on a beetle and a old transit lol!

and his quality of workmanship is amazing custom exhaust specialist and an amazing welder :D

I would say your missing 900 cc's and 2 cylinders but you can work up to that and I'm biased, anyway welcome
