whats the recommend oil for a limited slip diff?

Well if i used a good lsd i would use silkolene boa90ls oil. But usually i just put ep80/90 gear oil in my welder .

lsd oil can be bought from the dealer for about £17 per litre iirc but you have to take your own container as they dont usually sell it and only have large oil drums full for their workshop use.

Castrol B373 is fine too. About 10 pounds / 15 euro a litre.

iirc 1.75 litres but check with your local bmw service dept if i was you.
