hello all
So what are the diffrences between the who. apart from one being 2.0 and one being 2.5.
How can you spot the diffrence between the two?
What power are they each pushing out?
thanks in advance (a e30 newby)

Quite big power difference. about 140 for the 320 and 170 for the 25.
There's a visual difference in the elbow of the intake manifold for starters. I think the 320 has sharper angles but if you don't know it you can't really see. Maybe somebody has pictures of the two.
And maybe somebody can help me out.. Have I seen some 320s with single tailpipe and some with twin?

yeah, the 320s I've seen with twin exits really are pea shooters. Mate has a twin 320 exhaust on an mtec 2 kit - car is lovely but the exhaust looks all wrong.

B20 has 80 cast into the side of the block under the inlet, B25 has 84
B20 has 200(early) or 731 head casting, 325(all) have the 885 casting, again easy enough to find even on the most minging of engines.
best use for a 320 block- rebore to accept some 84mm slugs and a stroker crank
