This seems quite simple for a man who knows what he is doing but i need a quick mock up done for me.

Basically, iv 'developed' a small lump in my bonnet, and need a new one. Im wondering how a black bonnet would look on a white E30 Touring with Black IS Splitter, black Kidney Grills, Black BBS (Silver lips) and Black SE Side Skirts.

If i email someone a photo, could they paint my bonnet black? PM me with your email address if you can.

Many thanks,

E.

the small lump will be your engine mounts on the way out, the top of the throttlebody hits the bonnet.

No, the small lump means some fkin numpty closed my bonnet while there was a bottle of oil sitting on the rocker cover. 'Power Bulge' i call her. Stop trying to scare people....

e30bmlover now youve scared me wittless you fool, Ive got a tiny lump in my bonnet right where my throttle body is, do you have an idea how much work is involved if it is the mounts. ie can you get her up on ramps and take a mount out at a time with the engine supported and replace or is it an engine out job 8O

Don't even need it on ramps - just support the engine and replace them.
