Hi Guys,
I have just joined E30Zone although i have had my E30 325i M-tech in sterling silver for three years! Unfortunately is a four door but that doesn't matter too much as it spends most of its life sideways on a track! I have done some minor mods such as port and polished the head, put a shrieck 284 degree cam shaft in with shrieck double wound valve springs and of course the e30zone chip with the limiter lfted to approx 7k. The car has been lowered and is running bilstein shocks, it currently has the 20% lock diff although i would love to get my hands on a 40% diff if it were at the right price(join the queue i should imagine) i can't quite bring myself to strip her out though for 3 reasons:- 1) it seems like sacrolidge 2) she is in nice nick and the interior is virtually unmarked and 3) being a four door it is too practical (if a little thirsty) not to have as a usuable car! My other cars are an Audi S3 which is quick but only 2 door and a 1984 guigiaro Lotus Esprit Turbo which has only 2 seats to as you can see having no back seats is not really an option!
I love nothing more than thrashing my E30 around a track and have been black flagged at nearly every track i have been to for "over enthusiasm!" my record is 6 blacks on one day!
