E30 Zone

I was driving through Epping High St today and was amazed to see coming towards me, a black, 4dr, crhome bumper, D reg, E30 being used as a taxi!
And I dont mean a dodgy mini cab, it was a proper licenced one with an illuminated taxi sign on the roof and a phone number on the side.
I certainly had to double take. I wished id have got a piccy but I was driving in the opposite direction.

Has anyone else seen an E30 taxi about?

I have never, not even in Germany, seen an E30 as a taxi. Plenty of E28s, E34s, E39s, etc yes, but an E30!? Then again, I've seen a 5-door Fiesta as a taxi in Stoke...
