thats what i thought maxfield only they are a 2 piece rim the one on ebay are just one piece arent they?

are you sure they are 2-piece? I've seen such rims on ebay and they do look like 2/3 piece but actually are only 2-piece. They come in a 4x100/108 PCD and are 7.5x16 which seems to be the size on that car above.

if they are real BBS you'd see it under the centre cap. Can you remove it via unscrewing the central hex nut?

Those wheels are 16 inch split rims. I think they are 2 piece, they were an option on the 320is.

Thanks Dameon.
Yes, this E24 is one of three. It's an M635CSi which I restored three years ago. If you want to see some horror pictures check out this.
But I think the restoration has been wort it.

My other two E24 are a dolphin grey 635CSiA (auto tranny) and a diamond black shadow line 635 CSi (5-speed).

I'll try to set up an introduction of myself today in the trader's section giving some more info about me and my passion.

Cheers

Getting back on topic and out of the hawking of one's wares, the wheels in the original post are OZ 2 piece splits and as Jon says were an option on the 320is.
