Looks like i am buying another one but how can you be totally sure it is actually a "sport".

Yes. Cant even trust the log book, they can be changed. Nearly all the time if its got sport on the log book, and a black roof lining it will be a sport, but check!

Look carefully through its history also.

give your local stealer the vin. they will be able to tell you exactly what spec the car was bought with. was like the sport i was going to buy, it was supposed to have hounds tooth sports seats, someone replaced them with black leather.
