evreyone knows no aftermarket airfilter can improve on the standard e30 design that could have been created by god himself even after 20 years of progress.
a k+n will give a meatier sounding induction rumble 8)

I know, I'm so old fashioned. I just like a filter that does.

The BMC is worth it for the sound alone!

I'd stay away from K&N.

Mine has a green air filter, made a slight induction noise improvement but not as much as i hoped for. Will it have benefited power/torque at all?

i takeit you have not hutd th gruppe m then ??? we tested a gruppe m

a bmc and a itg inducion kit on my 318is when it went for testing at evolve and the gruppe m(samota lol ) sounded the best

No I have not tested the "gruppe m" kit as Sal can not supply with the right casing for a 325 yet iirc.

I'd rather stick with a better brand like BMC than a replica by a relatively unknown company.

like BMC
you mean like bmc that lost loads of torque on the before and after rolling road tests

it did mate ilost torque low down in the rev range

Completely different animal mate. 2.5's have a reasonable amount of low down torque anyway.

I never noticed a change in fitting the BMC, And a mate of mine fitted one to his E36 323 touring and noticed a smoother response.

All comes from personal experiance, Mine has been good
