Hi guys,
Whenever it rains or I was my car a get a small pool of water in the centre of the carpet infront of the drivers seat (around the vinyl insert). There is no water trail leading from the door so I don't think it is coming in thru there. Does anyone have any ideas?

I bet the battery tray in the engine bay has rust issues fella, remove the battery and plastic fasteners that hold the sound deadening in place then, pull back the deadening to reveal.
From inside the cabin you should see/feel the dampness above the accelerator pedal.

Also could be the seal around the heater matrix is knackered. Happened on mine. Rain comes in through the scuttle panel vents, then runs down through seal that holds the heater matrix/ fans on the bulk head.
Could be worth checking the bulk head drain plug is clear and this can cause the water to pool up in there.
If you find the seal is knackered its a dash out job to replace. Did it on mine and its been bone dry since.
You'll really need to dry the carpet out as well as tou'll soon find the floor pan rusting through. The only real way you can do this is by taking the carpet out and get the hair dryer on it.
