Question about original wheels.

If fitted with BBS crossspokes what came as a spare in the boot ?
i.e Another alloy or a steelie pretty sure i saw a car in the scrapper with alloys but what looked like a brand spanker steelwheel and tyre in the boot.

New cars always came with a spare alloy in the boot if alloys were fitted.

factory fitted bbs cars had bbs spares it is the owners over time that have replaced them

One of mine has a brand new steel in the boot but has 15" bbs on it

My touring came on 14" bottletops and there is an unused one in the boot after 18 years.

Its the traders who swap in a steelie/bottletop on each car they shift... ever wondered where the "set of 4 mint BBS" come from? Yep, part of one came out of your boot!

Cheers for replies, looks like i am keeping my 15" BBS in the boot as a matey was after it.
