Simon, he's having a Giraffe.
More like 50mph sideways. There's a fair bit of strength in that part of the shell, I'm glad I wasn't a passenger. The driver wouldn't have escaped unscathed if I was with him that's for sure.

I think a nice dose of Holts matt dash cleaner should restore that to it's former glory.

All's needed here is a bit of Mondeo bumper repair tape,be as good as new.
