lowering and wheels

hi guys need some advice .i own a 1990 318 touring witch i want to lower as much as poss but not sure what size wheel i can get away with . looking at 60mm drop any idea in the biggest size wheel i can fit

ive lowered my touring 60mm and 17" fits nice but 16" would be nicer :p

yeah no problem mate they weigh 9.5 kg so might be a bit but i will see.
anyone posted springs before and how much ?

best bet is to use a courier google parcelsave and you can book a range of couriers really cheaply best way imo as next day for £9 when same amount paid to royal mail takes over 12 days!!!

personaly, i love the look of wider wheels on the e30, mine is lowered 60mm all round and i have keskin 16x9j all round, with 20mm spacers and i think it looks cool! The wheels only very slighty come out the arches by about 5 mm, so from a 3d view the arches look really full and it gives the car a nice sporty stance. 17's this wide will prob need a bit of arch work, but mine dont rub at all.

at the moment i am 15" bbs and i have wheels availible through friends up to 18".

i have my 320 on a 60mm drop with 215/45/17s on it looks good and no rubbing at all

but if im honest a 16 inch wheel will look better
