Replacing the handbrake handle

Anyone ever done this? - I bought a leather one on ebay but can't work out how to remove the plastic one. thanks....

Pull it off, push the new one on. Job done.

You might have to wiggle it from side to side as you tug at it, but it will soon come off in your hands.

I did this recently. Brute force and a bit of wiggling side to side.

As above. Just pull and wiggle.

I hope you bought a leather handbrake gaitor to go with it because the leather handle is shorter than the standard E30 plasitc handle.
If you only have the rubber boot, it will look gastly.
