Cheap insurnace - does being in the Zone get you discount?

Hi all.

I'm doing my 1st trackday on Dec 1st at Castle Coombe and need to get some insurance sorted for the 325i that's been a work in progress for about a year.

I got a quote from Footman James for about £200 (classic policy, 2 people(26+27, 3yrsNCB), 1500 miles per year), but they contacted me after and said if I join an owners club they'll give it to me for £154...

Has anyone managed to use the Zone to get discount? (forgot to mention it at the time)

Is there an official E30 owners club?

Does anyone know of anywhere else for cheap insurance that also covers the track action??

Cheers :thumb:

Alright sounds good! I'm always paranoid and tread carefully with insurance companies due to some hellish grief they've given me in the past. Didn't wanna blag I'm in a OC then have them invalidate it or whatever. But if it's on their systems then fair enough! cheers chaps :D
