an massive overhaul :P

My beloved Sport is having money spent on it and i want to do it properly.

I had plans to put a 2.7 in it but i want it original as a i possibly can, its been parked up in my garage with the occasional run for the last 5 yrs and its time i started a project on it.

I think the head gasket has gone so its first job will be head and skim, the studs in the manifold will be done and a possible SS manifold might be purchased. The whole suspension was replaced with Bilsteins and new discs all round, im hoping to keep hold of the Bilsteins if i can but the whole disc's, pads and calipers will be replaced.

What else do i need to add to the list.....

Pics to follow when the dust sheet gets pulled back and loaded on a low loader.

I wouldnt bother with poly bushes for a road car. If its been layed up for 5 yrs with the occasional drive i would remove the body kit and inspect for rust there and in the sunroof tray.

Rolling road perhaps to see where it is at, and get it running right before any mods? and the usual inspection treat to some new decent fluid?
