Think i had a ufo experience, driving home in my 325i sport whn my check panel went haywire. Started lighting up and flashing. Indicators and lights started working funny.

I pulled over, switched her off for ten minutes! had a cigarette. when i switched back on it was fine!

Basingstoke... UFO hotspot or knackered electrics?

i had something like that happen to me, but it wasnt anything to do with a car, it was my mp3 player going crazy because the batteries that were in there, sucked and were from tesco

I'd say a UFO for sure! Does your E30 have any burn marks on her? :)

probly just some sort of funny signals going through the air. i can remeber a few months back i was going down a dual carridge way in the outer lane and a police car was coming up quick from behind with all the aerials under the sun on it and as i indicated in to the inner lane to let it pass my indicators just stayed on orange and did not flash. so when i stopped i switched off started it again and all was fine and it hasnt happened since.
