E30 Zone

Was on my way from London to Chesterfield and about 20 miles from getting there my temperature shot up, I lost power and had a cloud of steam coming from under the bonnet. I'm assuming the rad's gone but I think it may have taken the engine with it. Before I pulled up the engine sounded awful so I'm thinking it might be terminal absolutely gutted as I've only had it on the road a week and a bit. Just thought I'd post this to share my grief...

Head gasket or timing belt/chain??

"The engine sounded awful" is the bit that makes me cringe!! Could be easier/cheaper to replace the engine.


Unlucky fella

Made me cringe listening to it as i went to pull up! Half my coolant had boiled so I'm guessing it was the radiator.
