what ever the buyer is willing to pay is what its worth
an engine which cant be heard running and just "sat" there is not worth as much as a runnig one regardless of milage and history.
i sold a complete one with ecu's for £280 after it was heard and seen runnig and i sold one not heard runnig but with a gear box for £200

I reckon around 150 is a decent price for one.

i recon more, they are better then the e36 IS engines and you dont have to dick about with manifolds and ancilaries etc.
a good runnig engine with no issues is £250 , which is the same money as a decent m20 2.5

pends if you want the engine to sit there for 12 months waiting for someone to pay 500ish or if you want
shut at a reasonable fair price remember scrappys will give some form of gaurentee they do buy me anyway
are you gonna give a gaurentee ?
