My first car was back in '92 and it was a dark blue '82 (X) Austin Mini HL with beige interior. Nice.

Ended up being dark blue still, but with a cream roof, all new chrome, works arches, minilites on SP Sports, recaro's, adjustable column, motolita wheel, straight through exhaust with twin 1+1/2" SU's and head work.

Was awesome.

Stunning piece of kit back in the 80's when I was 19.


Shame the inboard discs where totally pants and made the car overbraked from the rear, which made the car act as if you was pulling on the hand brake to slow , this eventually caused its demise when braking to avoid a bike on a fast corner the back of the car turned around in the road, sending a friend and me hurtilng into an industrial estate sideways at 90MPH

We was both lucky to live.

1.4 Vauxhall astra merit But my first 'real' car was a jap import 1991 CRX SiR. Very rare and great car. Shame I kind of smashed it to pieces on my Bday

The first car I owned was a 99 2lt TD avensis. I was a named driver on a 1.2 corsa for a couple of years before that.

shit brakes!! skidded so many times, its quite scary when you hit the brakes and you cant stop and to avoid hitting ther person in front you go to the other side of the road, luck no one was there

First road legal car when i was 17 was a 1989 mini city E with a fair bit of stuf done to it.



Still got it. its at the paintshop, spent the past 2 years rebuilding it into a turbo. Cant wait to get it on the road. it was great fun with the 998 so looking forward to this engine.



First car was when i was 15. E30 316i with 2.5 and tec2 rep kit. Was gonna get it sprayed and have it on the road but insurance was a no no so eventually it saw the scrap heap.
