looking to drop the front of the 320i, all round really but mainly the front, prob is if you look at my last e30....

thats in comparison to a for fiesta bumper, no sure on the drop but it was too much of a loss comfort wise.
bought this for my missus...

dont know if yer can notice the drop but its only on 15"s with a low profile and its near touching thew arch but it causes to much wear on the steering, ball joints etc and again comfort loss, dont get me wrong it sticks to the road like fook, so what am after is a nice comprimise between to low and to high, think a 45 front 35 back if thats poss???
also it would be just springs for now and what do i do about camber adjustment on the rear with running the 17"s just incase i sit fat bastards in the back? any rubbing issues??? cheers chaps.

not exactly sure what you are asking here.... normal drop for sensible use is 40mm (and possible 60 at the rear) this will not rub your arches with 15inch unless you have 8-9inch wide rims. to fit 17's with a 40mm drop will not rub too badly but its normal to roll the arches, this can be done by most body shops without and need to paint, infact i have done mine myself successfully but we have no rust isses where i live.

to drop on springs alone , will not improve the cars handling or ability to ''stick '' to the road by any rear amount, it will just be lower and stiffer thus it feels better. as you said of you drop the rear it increases the camber-causing wear on wheel bearings, bushes etc etc, to stop this yuu need to fit eccentric bushes (demontweeks do them i think, but someone will confirm who lives in uk)...but even with these fitted you will not stop the camber when you have eccessive weight in the back, they only move the suspension geometry striaght point lower down the travel of the rear trailing arm to suit the lower ''normal'' ride height.

its on 17" at the mo, so a 40mm drop all round seems a good one on these? if it does rub i can roll arches myself but i dont know how good the paint is under these stupid chrome things that the previouse owner put on. only just got the car u see.

haha, the car in my sig pic was a £500 shitter i got from a mate, wasn't a sport, was just a 325 with mtec 2 kit fitted when the car was 2 years old. Mind you it would still rape a standard sport.
