I've had my cabbie nearly three years now and have just realised the indicator stalk has an extra position top and bottom for parking lights. You learn something new everyday... 8O

How do you mean "parking lights"? Does the indicator light stay on or something?

One sidelight back & front. If you push the indicator stalk all the way up, it's the right hand side (or down for left hand side).

No number plate lamps and no panel/dash lamps. Just the two bulbs, total consumption = 15W = 1.25A.
Any half decent battery should be able to sustain this for a day or so.

only if you leave the car with ignition off, quite useful if visiting a friend for instance and have to leave car parked on busy road or blind bend.
