E30 Zone

this morning was like any other morning woke up late lol got out of bed showered and dressed and was planning the day when on the way downstairs fell and ended falling down the satirs at 6am in the morning luckilly the onlt thing that i hurt which was my finger broken dohh according to the nice lady in a and e so now have splint and bandage on there lol,

(so whats the point in this story you say)

well i will tell you i got home and sat on th sofa now next to my sofa there are a set of drawers, i opened the top draw to get the tv remote and there next to the remote was a set of keys h set of keys to my 318is and when i go those keys out and held them in my hand for the firs time all moring i smilled the car is not even at my house i did not even have to drive it, but holding those keys reminded me of how good it felt to drive it how much i loved it and how and why i spend my money on it for and that feeling alone i enough to drive me to be an absaloute e30 nutter and i will never change AND I AM GLAD OF THAT !!!

just thought i would share this with you as i think it justifys what we all do everyday of the week adoe our bmws and why we do it ??? well there is m answer so why do you do it ?

i wake up get that first cup of coffee down me neck look out of the window an smile, its still there and why you may ask i used to spend silly money on the thing until recently (awaiting new job) ,i look out across the new estate i live in an see nothing but dull shapeless jelly moulds on peoples drives the e30 has looks its agressive looking stylish, and turns heads on days out still pleasures me after every drive (not the way your thinkin lol) and when i get home after bieng out in it i still look at it b4 i go in an think thats mine that an am proud of it seen sum people chatting recently of hangin up there gloves with these cars there a icon of the 80`s car wat else will you find for the same money now that will make you happy rwd stylish on its own accounts a fun car yes they cost money some silly amounts but so does life so wat dont get rid be happy . thats my opinion giggle if ye like but i like my motor an it will stay goin as long as i do, an to be stored if any thnik happens for my boys to have

THough seriously i do agree, when im pi>>ed off i look out the window, at the wifes car and laugh ( smart car) whats the world coming to shapeless crap. I open the garage, and just stand there thinking what i can do next to improve it.
Im lucky enough to have driven and owned nearly every 80s & early nighties BMWs, i remember each with affection and cursing, but there is a story for each one that would warm your heart round a pint on a cold evening.

Im boared at work doing a 24hrs shift and my car is sitting out the window so i can smile all day................

correct, my life is my kids an her, but my fun an time out thing is my touring and if it wernt we wouldnt be on these sites calaborating about them or selling each other bits an endlessly goin on about them fixing problems on them so on

i think there is a difference between admiring something and developing an unhealthy/possibly illegal love for an inanimate object.

your right though, im not 100% bmw. im not 100% anything and just go with whatever takes my fancy at the time.got to be rwd though so i can cossie convert it

Yep, i got my first E30 when i was 15 and i used to go and sit in it for ages. Even used to go and sit in it to listen to my music. Oh dear.....how sad is that.lol.

iam new to the E30 but i understand and feel what you guy are talking about.I have driven some good cars , but i rank the E30 on top , the drive the feel and the look you cant beat, have spent to much on her already but will spend some more cant help it.She does make me smile when i look at her
