4wd E30 anyone know anything bout these??

Earlier this year i see on pistonheads.com a 4wd E30 for sale, i was shocked i never heard of it before i spoke to someone and they said they had and there extremely rare. Since seeing the one for sale on there ive not heard nothing else about them, does anyone on here have one??
The one on piston heads was up for £1700 surely thats a bargain???

Any info :? ??

325iX, not sold in the UK and all LHD AFAIK.

yea thts wat was for sale, wat do they go and handle like then? anyone ever drove or owned one?? just seems mad a 4wd E30 lol

i know a guy who is selliong one of these its a bit wiered though kinda not a bmw unless its rwd imo

They also made 4wd E34s, eg. the 525iX.

The odd one comes up on ebay. I've never driven one, but would love to give it a go. There was a white 325ix auto on ebay a few weeks ago. Looked very clean. there 2 525ix's on at the minute. Here the links.

theres a rhd version on ebay i think was in the ebay thread last week am sure in northwest windsford i think white one looked smart was goin to veiw it but somethink came up :wink:

Apparently the ix's are 60 rear / 40 front split on the drive. They use a bit more fuel than a normal 2.5 but the grip is amazing IIRC. There's a lad scrapping one locally to me and I'm quite tempted to convert mine....

You cant fit a 325ix gearbox in a non 4x4 shell as the tunnel is different
