Forgive me for saying James I'm sure 16" rims were the correct Alpina size for the E30.

(where's Simon he'll confirm)

e30s were 16inch, not aware of any 15s and 17s+ come from non-e30s

e21 whells are about et13,

mim alpines are often firred to e30's and look good and they give a wider track. if they are no more than 7" wide they will be fine and shouldn't cause any scrubbing issues

I am no expert, but I have a feeling that the very first e30 Alpinas in Germany may have had the 7j x 15 inch versions ?

I have a set of copies on my touring and the offset is a bit extreme, I had to do some work to the rear arches even with 195's, but actually I think they look just as good as the 16's becasue the dish is bigger on them making them look as wide if not wider. I will take some pics at some stage !!

Also the ride is far superior to 16's when just poodling about; I find the 16's on my saloon too hard with the state of our roads these days. I am thinking of buying another set of 15's to put on my saloon until the council ups the quality of the roads around here !!

Try ebay in Germany, the parts are much cheaper on there than here.

Best

Hi
I know of 15" reps that are for sale here in SA, but never heard of or seen original 15" Alpina wheels for the E30.

only 16's for E30's 100%

E21's were 15's me thinks with the old style rim with no centre cap, all E30's had the newer style with caps
