Looking for advice to what are the best brake pads for the front of a 325, standard discs.
Ive had RS-19´s on my M3(BMW Group N) but i feel these are a bit too much for a 325 any opinions?

Standard pads arnt much cop to be fair not much good on the road let alone a track just not enough bite.
I might have to go back to Padgid Rs 19´s again!!

Stick with the RS19s, or go with Ferodo DS2500s
RS29s are awesome, but too harsh for road use, I'd imagine DS3000s are similar.
Another vote here against EBC Greenstuff - no initial bite, and it's too easy to fade them. Avoid.

Always thought EBC were shite!!
Rs 29´s are ok for road actually They are the newer vesion of the rs19´s the only draw back of these pads is they have no retaining spring on the inside pad so you get on pad on every wheel that jingles plus they screen quite bad unless ther are red hot but excellent pads.

E30 325i ..... Mintex 1155 fronts and 1144 rears for track days ..... easy on rotors, long lasting, zero fade, v. good feel and extremely effective .

i'm a mintex man but M1155's are never warm enough on the road but great around the ring.
Nothing wrong with standard pads from the dealer, they are very good and can take some abuse. They are ceretainly up for road use. if they aren't i'm guessing your driving style..............needs adjustment imo

LOL no im not like that, But having good brakes that bite well is a good thing, like you say standard front brakes are ok if not good but just wanted something that would do track and road but cheaper than RS19´s or 29´s.
Mind you i suppose you get what you pay for!!

I have EBC greenstuff on both of my E30's.They have been on the 316 for almost two years now,(around 20,000 miles) and are only half worn.About a year(15,000 miles) for the 2.7,perhaps a little over half worn.No track use, no fade,no problems.Looks like the discs are wearing at a similar rate, though.Discs used to last forever.....
