got back from holiday and realised the 5 series tax and mot were out, so the missus used my toy for a week or so. i gets a call from her to say its over heating. when i got home, i pulled the dipstick and sure enough, it looked like pugwash. to save me a lot of time and hassle, can any of you people put me in the right direction for a write-up on doing the job either on this site or anywhere else on the net. also, what to look out for when i get the thing to bits.

its a 325i cab. 1992.

First thing to do is find a new head... & depending on how bad the oil is, a new bottom end too. Unlikely to be just the headgasket :cry:
E30 in need of wiring loom smoke since April '11...
