Just wondering how often or km's you guys do before an oil change.Iknow some of you use Semi Synthetic and other use mineral so these will differ,so lets see what you come up with.

I do mine every 3000 but every 5k is probably ok; this is using semi synthetic. A really expensive synthetic oil and you could probably stretch it further.

I do mine every 5000 miles (or 6 months) with new filter on fully synthetic oil.

Lately its become my daily driver so 5000 miles rolls round every 3 months last year I didn't even put 5000 miles on her!

I think it said in my manual for the 318is to change the oil every 6.000 miles or 6 months.I use to follow this guide.

Indeed, and you have to be breaking some law to be clocking up 3000 miles each day

I used to do mine once a year, but i think that was too infrequent (around 10k miles) - starting to do it every 5k now - on Halfrauds semi-synthetic 10W40. I know i should get better oil but i can't afford it

I'm running a total loss oil system at the moment. Its using about 1 litre every 500 miles. That works out at a full oil change about 2.5k! The tricky bit is reading the dipstick now because the oil is so clean....

Gotta get a new head!
