the story goes like this..been trying to sell the wifes scooby for about 6 weeks, to fund a cabby to "complete the fleet" , anyway i was moaning to a guy at work about how i couldn't sell it and he told me about a site called "swapz.com" so went on and found "K145" so entered into discussions with the guy in Blackpool and he seemed interested, so we arranged to meet in Carlisle on sun at 10 am... so i cleaned and polished the scoob (32000 miles on the clock btw) within an inch of its life

then, set off for the meet at 6am sun morning, of coarse picking up another zoner on the way, (cheers james mate :thumb: ) anyway got there at 10am no sign.....worst thing is he wouldnt give me his number so i couldn't phone :? 11.30 comes and he calls me to say he's just left ..ok ill hang about, Blackpool to Carlisle 2 hrs tops eh? NO!! He eventually turned up at 3.30pm.. the car probably hadn't been washed for a year and the interior was manky, there was a set of se side skirts screwed into the sills and it had no petrol left in it. Any way deal was made so figured i'd get it home and see what iv'e got...

so spent the last couple of days fixing wee stuff, switches etc and rummaging round... turns out ive got a very clean 318i lux cab with FULL service history  and a build date of nov 93 winkeye
what a fluke!!
After about half a litre of various autoglym products...

The cabby is well worth keeping IMO as I think they are only going to go up in value as long as you keep it tidy.

Looks like it could be a good basis for a project.

Looking good, Graham! :thumb:

I reckon you did ok there, a few wee things to sort out and you'll have a great Cab.
Enjoy it through the summer, then tackle the jobs needed over the winter. (You have plenty other E30's to use anyway!)

I hope you got a discount for the wasted time!

Looks to be in good nick, scooby was also in good nick, I wouldve thought the scoob would fetch more in a private sale, but anyhoo Nice One!
