Thought this could be interesting for those (like me) contemplating engine swaps etc. Mainly for modified cars I guess, but stock (& mildly tuned etc) figures all add value...
So post up any/all of the below that you have:
1: Car/engine/mods/gearing/weight etc
2: BHP (& how obtained - dyno/where etc)
3: 1/4 mile (& how obtained - Santa Pod / other strip / G-tech etc)
4: Anything else you want to add - 0-60, Vmax etc!
Did anyone collate any figures from Santa Pod last year?

This is with my old 325 in the sig pic - which I no longer have.
1- Car - 1988 325i (not sport) so standard gearbox and open diff, running in full road trim with nothing stripped out. Head rebuild, polished ports, FSE boost valve, Piper "fast road" cam, chip (custom remap), scorpion system, K&N Panel filter. Running on 17" burger kings.
2- BHP - 192 alegedly, dyno run a couple of years before I got the car after the above mods carried out
3- 15.9 1/4 mile @ 84mph - York Dragway July 2005

1: 316 Touring / M20B25 / 4.2 diff, standard box / 1245kg
2: On certain other forums I use, 174 + 'wild' chip (claims 15bhp) = 189bhp (151bhp/ton). In reality... Lucky if I'm pushing book figures. Not proven, my car doesnt fit on the rollers.
3: 10.6 1/8 mile, properly timed with christmas tree lights etc at a rwyb day. (supposedly equates to a 16 sec 1/4)
4: 0-69.3 = 10.6. Gps verified 131mph at the 7k redline in 5th (read 145 on the clocks lol). Kept an 850 T5 (215bhp?) on its toes the other day.

1) 1988 standard 325i touring
2) 150bhp (if ive only lost 20 im happy)
3) Takes me around five minutes to do 1/4 mile (including time taken to locate cigarettes and lighter) (timed by my missus)
4) 0-60 about 15 seconds, - speed is not as satisfying as Starskey and Hutch style burnouts, although much slower.

1) my recently aquired 318iS turbo, however this was before i owned it, so not me driving. running motec, JE pistons, around 16psi
2) approx 280hp at engine, 18x rwkw on the dyno.
3) 14sec flat at Meremere drag strip, NZ. i imagine it should be a little bit faster once i change the springs to a bit softer, more grip and i'm driving haha

For a laugh:
1) Audi fat boy estate, 20v turbo, 6 speed box, 1850kgs!
2) 230bhp standard, 250bhp+, a true 195 at the wheels - 4wd
3) 15 flat, gtech innit! average of running both ways on a particular road
4) Guess about 6.9 to 60.
And its not very fast, you will want to building something with better figures than that

1: 88 325i turbo - modded everthing - stock weight, maybe a few more kilos, 3.73 open soon to be 3.15 LSD
2: @ 10 psi - arse dyno says 280/300bhp ( enough to stuff most cars on the road)
3: 15.4 @ 96mph N/a - am yet to try a 1/4 with the turbo
4: 0-60 - 6.52 secs with T3, I'm sure now I can get sub 5 secs and expect to run into the 12's come the pod.
The best way to explain how my car feels is imagine 5th is 3rd, as in my 5th gear goes like a N/a 3rd gear

Don't know if this is of interest
1) MR2 turbo.
Apexi management, charge cooler, forge rods, eagle forged pistons, 3inch exhaust system, arp headstuds, running 22psi on CT26 turbo
310 bhp @ the wheels (recorded on Thors dyno)
2) 12.91 @ santa pod
Now sold to fund my 325i turbo touring and hoping to make it quicker than the above (as my friend now owns it)

1: Car/engine/mods/gearing/weight etc
2: BHP (& how obtained - dyno/where etc)
3: 1/4 mile (& how obtained - Santa Pod / other strip / G-tech etc)
4: Anything else you want to add - 0-60, Vmax etc!
1: Brown coupe shell (1985). Brown makes it faster! Engine's an early high comp M20B25 with a pair of skyline turbos, ITBs, twin ICs, Emerald engine management. Sport gearbox, whatever the standard diff was.
2: 270bhp and 240lbft at Emerald's rolling road.
3: Not done a timed 1/4 in it

4: Have done a timed 0-60 though which was a pretty lame 6.3s, although I suspect a lot of that was me holding the car back.

3: 14.8 sec 1/4 @ 94mph, Santa Pod in April

2.7 Twin Turbo with 150bhp to 200bhp shot of Noz
500+ bhp, but take away 100bhp for 26 speakers and 10 TV's.
Q/M time is 5 minutes cause i'm a poser and have to drive slow enough so everyone sees me put on my make up
