E30 M3 engine's were 4pots...the E36 brought in the 6pot M3 engine.

That's just fecking wrong. Did Baur get their mits of facelift cars? I thought theur abuse was confined to pre facelift?

8O Not quite as hideous as their attempt on the E36, but a close second.

whats the point?!

I get that baur made 'cabrio' e30's because bmw didnt at that time... but they've always made an e36 cabrio havent they?

Why on earth would you buy that atrocity when you could have a proper one?

hmm that e30 looks very interesting. some good metal work there, maybe the guy was sitting at the pub with his pals, and he came up with the idea.

Did the baur designer get cataracts between the e30 and the e36

One looks half ok, the other looks plain wrong

The e36 didnt have a convertible for a few years into production. That Baur looks like an early 1991 e36 saloon. Awful.

ah fair enough, still looks gash though.

whats the point, i wouldn't even call that a convertable, its a fat old e36 saloon bith a stupidly big sunroof :puke:

i think baur catered for the bmw convertible fan who only wanted the four pot engined car, hence their cabriolet. ive seen a few facelift baurs.
