E30 Zone

I wonder how many cars can be left standing for 5 months and start up and idle nicely on the 2nd attempt?

Thing is it's cruel for them to be left this long, and then you feel like selling, then you don't.

But, I spose that's the beauty of E30 and old car ownership.

Is there only me that thinks like this?

Mine always fires up too! I think its a lot to do with the lack of electric gizmos that aren't draining the battery like on newer cars.

Must admit I am seriously thinking about piling more £'s to get her finished and back on the road through the so called summer.

i went to fire my 320i up today for a blast about. thought i mite aswell seen as its been a fortnight and....................fookin dash lights didnt even light up.stone bloody dead she was

at least its only the battery though

i have recently aquired a tourer which had been stood for almost a year started no prob first time

my e24 635csi was perfect after sitting for 5 months

my new 325i which hasn't been serviced since sept '05 as it was garaged starts first time and quicker than my other 325i se that was serviced a month ago
