E30 Zone

my first e30 was a 1985 323i 2 door in black,and 3or4 years later a blue 1989 2.7 M-Tech 2 door which was a project car.I had two 316i's one was a 1987,and the other a 1989.Then i had a M/black 4 door 325i which i kept for a while, and also a touring.I now own a 1987 325i cab M/black.Tony. And there's more me and a mate use to buy and sell them and break a few that was about 4 years ago! ///

husband bought his 1988 318i in 1990/2000 with 42k on it... 7 years later it now has 54k on it... shame its a non runner now.

bought a red 320i for £100 in jul 2005 brakes were knackered so, swapped it with scott325se for an interior.. as you do

bought a silver 318i lux in may 2005, did about 15k happy miles before i needed to sell it, but noone wud give me £300 for it so I broke it the end of last year.

bought a 320i touring at auction in January 06, but it failed its mot terribly a few months later so broke that too!

bought a minty low miles silver 320iSE saloon for £800..... but had a leaky tank so stuck it on ebay, got £600.... bloke fixed it and sold it on ebay for £1500!!

not having much luck e30 wise! after another silver 4door now.

just the two. first was a 1990 320 touring that met its maker as i took it down to the garage for an engine conversion. second is my current 325 mtec touring that got the engine conversion.

First: 1986 320i Automatic 4 door, sold to a friend, has since gone though 3 gearboxes and 2 engines

Second: 1987 320i Manual 2 door, Currently my dailly drive, still a 320i but now has 325i sports suspension (Big thanks to SPADGE for the bits), with a few other tweeks, handles a bloody treat now

my dad had an alpina c2 2.7 in 1994-1996 and a 325i se now, was mainly into e21 323is

3 so far and still have them all. 1990 325i Sport, 1987 M3 and 1988 320i.Bought the Sport in 2002 and was hooked on E30's. Then in 2005 got the chance of the M3 and jumped at it. Did'nt go looking for the 320i but found it in a garden and gave £100 for it to break but when I got it home it was to good to break so it might go on the track. When I get an E30 it does'nt get away easily.

Add to my lot 7 E21's, 8 E36's, 24 E28's, 4 E12's, 8 E23's, 4 E34's, 2 E24 6 Series, 7 E32's, a CSL, an E3 3.0S and an E46 Touring.

And an 8 Series.

I doubt even JonB could match that.

My 730i, bought in July 2004 so that's a whopping 3 years. Normally I never keep anything more than 6 months.
